What is Threading? Threading is an ancient Arabian and South Asian method of hair removal. It is a very delicate procedure. Beauty therapists around the world use this technique to reshape eyebrows and remove the hair on the upper lip and face. Celebrities such as Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon, Selma Hayek and Oprah have reported to regular threading appointments. What are the benefits of Threading?
for individuals who use Accutane Retin-A and similar products because it does not cause breakouts.
How does it work? By knotting a piece of cotton thread and creating a loop to remove hair from the root. Does it hurt, & how often should it be done? Threading is less painful than waxing and most individuals say it doesn't hurt at all. The sensation is similar to tweezing or plucking and the maintenance is usually done between every 2 to 3 weeks. How long does it take to do eyebrows? About 10-15 minutes |
